Frequently asked questions

If you are feeling unsure about treatment, you are not alone. Here are answers to questions we hear often from patients.

I am very nervous about dental visits. Can you help?

Yes. Many of our patients used to feel anxious. We schedule a little extra time, explain each step before we start and always check that you are comfortable. You can stop treatment at any time by raising your hand.

What happens during my first visit?+

Your first visit includes a conversation about your concerns, a full examination, gum health assessment and digital X-rays where needed. We will then discuss findings and plan together, including fees and timing.

Do you accept insurance or panel claims?+

We are not directly panel for all insurance providers, but we can prepare detailed receipts and reports to support your personal claims where applicable.

Is teeth whitening safe for my enamel?+

Professional whitening supervised by a dentist is safe for healthy teeth when used as directed. We always check your teeth and gums first, and tailor the strength to minimise sensitivity.

Are dental implants painful?+

Implants are placed under local anaesthesia so you should not feel pain during the procedure. Some soreness afterwards is expected but usually manageable with routine pain relief.
