How often should you really visit the dentist?

For many patients, a 6-monthly check-up and cleaning schedule works well. It allows us to detect problems early, gently remove tartar and update your home care routine.

However, some patients benefit from more frequent visits — for example, if you have a history of gum disease, wear braces, or smoke. On the other hand, low-risk patients with excellent hygiene may be suitable for yearly reviews.

During your first visit, we will discuss an appropriate recall interval for you instead of applying a one-size-fits-all rule.
